HMS project aims to develop a suite of hotel management software, covering the majority of needs in the domain. Our solution will provide a centralized information thereby reducing the cost of purchase and maintenance while optimizing the organization and working time hotels. A website will also be available so that customers can make reservations with tools for comparing and sorting using databases and information hotels in contract with us. Finally we use the APIs developed within the part of the website to be able to make mobile applications to ease accessibility for users whether they are employees or customers of these hotels.
PMS (Property Management System or for management software) is a software suite with all the services necessary for the management of a company. In our case, this is the hotel.
Our PMS will be in the form of a combination of different applications, as appropriate, shall be present or not. It will be synchronized with the Web and mobile part.
The reservation website of our solution is at the heart of client / hotel relationship. The web platform acts as a showcase site for all partner hotels therein, but also a directory for all clients wishing to stay in hotel part.
Two main actors are therefore using this platform, hoteliers and their guests.
The Symfony2 framework was chosen for web development.
In order to reach a maximum audience, we will develop mobile apps (android and iPhone). On the one hand to the hotel guests so they can book their rooms from anywhere. On the other hand for hotel employees.
Epitech Innovative Project (EIP) is the main step in the course of Epitechéen who passed his student status to professional full. 4th and 5th year students must complete an entire project and make every effort to make it usable in the professional world.
The EIP has a dual purpose of allowing students to gain experience of full project management in practice and to help them build a business card high level.
Epitech established Epitech Innovative Project is a separate project in the curriculum of the school. This important project, takes us on a professional approach and work in groups.
The dissemination of the project is encouraged, resulting thereby, superior quality and management of further project for a school project.
The School for Computing and Emerging Technologies (Epitech) also called European Institute of Information Technology, is a French private school established in 1999 by the IONIS group which delivers a higher education in computer science and new technologies.
It delivers as an expert in computer science (recorded by CNCP) via a five-year course.
The team consists of eight students. Mostly abroad during their 4th year Epitech, an organization due to be put in place to overcome the distance and different time (UTC offsets). The group was divided into different parts but the pooling of progress is seen on skype every week.
The technical study is the phase of the EIP which precedes and prepares the technical realization of your project. It allows to fully describe the project and its implementation.
It is for our team but will also serve as contractual document management with MIS. Any changes will be subject to the approval of both partners.
